Day 1: Denpasar, Bali
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, and take your private transfer to your five-star, beachfront hotel south of Denpasar City. Check in and relax in your tropical surroundings.
Day 2: Denpasar, Bali
Explore the bustling city of Denpasar on our fun and interactive tour. You’ll see the main sites like Puputan Square and the market where you haggle for souvenirs amongst the fruit, flowers, fish, chicken and pigs also for sale. Entrance to the fascinating Bali Museum is included. Learn about the ancient Balinese custom of filing down teeth to smooth their appearance, thought to also smooth away any savage aspects of the soul.
Return to your hotel.
Day 3: Denpasar, Bali
A full day to spend at your leisure. Relax poolside or beachside, or ask our travel experts for their suggestions of unique experiences like surf lessons, massages, boat trips or a batik workshop taught at a family shop.
Day 4: Benoa, Bali
Transfer to Benoa port where our ship is docked. Embarkation is from 4pm. Relax in your luxury cabin before we set sail at 8pm. If you prefer, you can wander and explore the picturesque fisherman’s village port and watch the vibrant demonstrations of traditional Balinese dancing.
In the evening you are invited to attend the Welcome reception on board. You will be introduced to the captain and the crew, and can get to know your fellow guests over a drink or two.
Day 5: Saringi Island – Keramat Island
After a freshly prepared breakfast, we arrive at Saringi Island in the morning. Saringi Island is a serene and scenic deserted island that is connected via a sandbank to neighbouring Keramat Island, which is also uninhabited. The peaceful and idyllic location is perfect for recreational beach activities.
Spend some time exploring the beautiful fine white sandy beaches and navigating between the two islands. You can also go swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding. A beach BBQ is a great way to relax and enjoy authentic island living. Overnight at anchor.
Day 6: Keramat Island – Satonda Island
We set sail from Keramat Island for Satonda Island. The stunning uninhabited island is a dormant flooded volcano that boasts an extraordinary crater lake at its core. Join our English-speaking guided tour to explore around the crater’s edge. You will learn about the island’s legendary history and discover the mysterious “wishes trees” that are decorated with fishing stones, shells and pieces of coral.
You can make a wish and leave behind a seashell as a reminder. Relax on the sandy shores and explore the underwater paradise on a snorkelling adventure. Overnight at sea.
Day 7: Flores Island – Kokotao – Rinca Island
On arrival at Flores Island join our optional early morning excursion to explore the lush archipelago island. Visit the small town of Ruteng that is surrounded by forested volcanic hills and rolling rice plains. To experience Indonesian culture and island life, head for the colourful marketplace where the local Manggarai people shop and socialise. Before lunch, we continue to Cancar to admire the unique lingko rice fields that boast a distinctive circular spider’s web design. In the afternoon we arrive at Kokotao Island, where you can experience an amazing underwater adventure.
Day 8: Komodo National Park, Rinca Island – Padar Island
The famous giant lizard Komodo dragon has made Rinca Island its home. On the island, join our optional guided tour to Komodo National Park, where you can observe these mighty creatures in their habitat. Traverse the paths that lead through pockets of thorny vegetation and dry tropical grasslands to view the Komodo dragons in close quarters from a favorable observation point.
We depart Rinca Island in the afternoon to sail to nearby Padar Island. Enjoy snorkelling and water based activities on the island’s magnificent beaches that are uniquely coloured pink, black or yellow.
Day 9: Moyo Island
Moyo Island is a secluded and peaceful piece of paradise that is popular with A-list celebrities and royalty. The idyllic location boasts a lush forest, cascading waterfalls, meandering rivers and grassy savannah. Visit the charming village of Labuhan Haji on our optional half-day excursion.
To welcome you, many of the villagers will perform a traditional dance. Hike to the magnificent multi level Mata Jitu waterfall that traverses through a plantation of cashew nut. Observe the beautiful red dragonflies, insects and spiders, and exotic birds that dwell deep in the jungle.
Day 10: Pamenang port, Lombok Island
On arrival in Pamenang port, join our optional full-day excursion to the north of Lombok. From the top of Malimbu cliff you can admire the wonderful panoramic view of Gili Islands and Bali’s mount Agung.
En route to the village of Senaru we visit the vibrant market in Tanjung and drive through the picturesque paddy fields to reach the Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls. The waterfalls are located beneath the volcano of Mount Rinjani. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. We return to the ship for the evening’s farewell cocktails and the captain’s dinner.
Day 11: Benoa, Bali
On early morning arrival in Benoa Bali enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast before saying goodbye to your new friends. Disembarkation is from 06.00 hrs to 09.30 hrs. Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
