Itinerary

Day 1: Marina Zeas (Piraeus) – Kea
Your 8-day Classical Greece cruise begins with embarkation at 2.00pm to 3.00pm. You are invited to board the ship at Marina Zeas at your convenience. Relax in your luxury cabin before joining your fellow passengers at the Welcome party.
You will be introduced to the captain and the crew. After dinner, enjoy free time exploring Korrisia, the charming tiny port of Kea. At a waterfront taverna you can unwind over a drink and watch the world go by. On your return to the ship we set sail for Delos and overnight at sea.

Day 2: Delos – Mykonos
After a freshly prepared breakfast, join our optional English-speaking guided tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos. The Cyclades archipelago uninhabited island is considered to be antiquity’s most sacred isle. Explore the island’s ancient ruins that encompass a port, markets, houses and religious temples.
We continue to the port of Tourlos in Mykonos, with a swim stop en route. You have a free afternoon and evening to explore the island’s cosmopolitan lifestyle at your leisure. Visit the iconic windmill landmarks, and dance the night away in one of the popular nightclubs.

Day 3: Santorini
Enjoy a free morning relaxing onboard. We arrive at the beautiful sun kissed island of Santorini around midday. The island’s rugged landscape is the result of a volcanic eruption in the 16th century. Visit the charming towns of Fira and Oia, and the famous underwater caldera (crater).
The towns’ whitewashed houses cling to the cliffs and create a unique stunning sculpture that boasts magnificent views across the Aegean Sea. Join our optional tour to the local archaeological sites and the enchanting traditional villages that will instantly transport you to another time.

Day 4: Rethymno (Crete)
In the morning we arrive at Crete’s famous bustling city port of Rethymno, on the north coast. Explore the Old Town and the charming Venetian harbour that is brimming with traditional fishing boats and colourful tavernas. Our optional guided tour visits the ancient city of Knossos, near Heraklion.
Crete’s largest Bronze Age archaeological site is also Europe’s oldest, dating to the Neolithic period. Explore the ancient settlement and the ceremonial palace of Knossos that were associated with the Minoan people. The historical attraction also boasts an excellent archaeological museum. Late departure for Kythira.

Day 5: Kythira
Enjoy free time and a swim stop before afternoon arrival at Kythira. The idyllic island is situated in the tip of the Peloponnese peninsula, and boasts fabulous sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls and hidden gorges and valleys. Its remote location makes it the perfect getaway from it all destination. In the evening, visit the picturesque main town of Chora.
The ancient settlement is dominated by a Venetian castle and preserved ruins, and boasts breathtaking hilltop views of Filoti bay and Kapsali. You can shop for souvenirs in the quaint alleys and dine along the waterfront.

Day 6: Monemvasia – Nafplion
Discover the remarkable medieval fortified town of Monemvasia. The enchanting town is carved on the side of an elevated, huge sea rock that is protected from view. Explore the preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture in its unspoiled natural setting. In the afternoon we sail for Nafplion, with a swim stop en route.
The mainland seaport town of Nafplion is home to distinctive period architecture, medieval fortifications, a charming Old Town and a long stretch of sandy beach. For an authentic Greek experience, visit the family run restaurants that are frequented by the locals.

Day 7: Nafplion – Hydra – Marina Zeas, Athens
Join our optional morning tour to the archaeological site of Mycenae and the imposing walled palace of Agamemnon. The fortified citadel is one of the most important historic sites in all of Greece. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is an impressive monumental ruin of two great Mycenaean cities.
In the afternoon we sail for the island of Hydra. Enjoy a free evening exploring the car-free picturesque port town that is situated on the slopes of a hill. Explore the intimate coves and beaches, or relax with a drink and admire the wonderful views. Late in the evening, we set sail for Marina Zeas, Athens.

Day 8: Marina Zeas (Athens)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and bid farewell to your fellow passengers and crew before disembarkation.
