Day 1: Eilat, Israel
On arrival at Eilat airport you will be escorted via private transfer to the port of the southern Israeli resort town. Embarkation is from 15:00-16:00hrs. Once you are comfortably on board the ship, you can relax in your air-conditioned en suite cabin, or in the public areas. Alternatively, you can venture into the town to explore the beautiful beaches or the popular shopping district. In the evening, you are invited to the Welcome cocktail reception on board, where you will be introduced to the captain, crew and your fellow guests.
Day 2: Eilat, Israel – Aqaba, Jordan
Join our optional private guided tour to the biblical theme park of Kings City or Timna Valley Park, to enjoy a full day of sightseeing adventures. Visit the site of the oldest copper mines, and admire the stunning natural landscape that features the red volcanic Mt Timna in its heart. You will also have an opportunity to take part in one of Eilat’s most popular tourist activities – camel riding. Or you can explore the beauty of the underwater panorama in one of the world’s best diving spots, on our alternative excursion.
Day 3: Aqaba, Jordan
Today, we venture to the magnificent historic city of Petra on an optional full day excursion. The iconic UNESCO World Heritage site is also known as the Rose City, due to the beautiful colour of the rock that was used to build it. Take a walk around the archaeological site and admire the stunning Siq Canyon and the Treasury Temple of Al Khazneh, in the awe-inspiring ancient city. Enjoy unlimited fabulous photo opportunities in the unique landscape. In the evening, we set sail for the Egyptian resort town of Sharm El Sheikh.
Day 4: Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
We arrive in Sharm El Sheikh in the morning with plenty of time to enjoy a full day excursion. Join our private guided tour to the pilgrimage site of the world’s oldest continuously active monastery of St Catherine’s. The monastery was founded in 527 and still retains much of its original appearance. Admire the painted icons and visit the site of the mystical Burning Bush. Alternatively, you can enjoy exploring the diving and snorkeling mecca of the Red Sea region, and observing beautiful marine life on an exciting underwater adventure.
Day 5: Gubal or El Gorna – Hurghada, Egypt
Enjoy a relaxing morning at sea, on route to the Gubal Islands or El Gorna. Bathe in inviting tranquil waters on a scheduled swim stop, before tucking into a delicious BBQ lunch served on deck. Mix and mingle with your fellow guests as we continue cruising to Hurghada in the early afternoon. Stretching 40km along the scenic Red Sea coast, the beach resort town of Hurghada has a reputation for being a prime scuba diving location. Explore the sandy beach or the local cafes, bars and restaurants in your free time.
Day 6: Hurghada, Egypt
Transfer via bus to the ancient historic city of Luxor, for an optional sightseeing excursion and overnight stay in a deluxe hotel. After check in, join our private guided tour to the majestic landmark attractions of the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple, on the east bank of the Nile River. Wander through the Karnak Temple Complex and admire its collection of temples, chapels, columns and pillars, and the impressive 97-ft tall obelisk and avenue of sphinxes. At the Luxor Temple, or ‘southern sanctuary’, admire the Egyptian masterpiece that dates back to 1400 BCE.
Day 7: Hurghada, Egypt
Join our optional early morning excursion to the west bank of Luxor, in search of the ancient treasures of the Gods, Kings and Pharaohs. The archaeological site of the Valley of the Kings boasts a sacred royal burial site that features 63 tombs. Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, which was constructed to honour the only female pharaoh in history. Our final stop, before returning to the ship, is the site of the twin statues of the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening, you are invited to the captain’s farewell dinner with music and live entertainment.
Day 8: Ain Sokhna or Suez, Egypt
Morning arrival in the port of Ain Sokhna or Suez. Enjoy a final freshly prepared breakfast before saying goodbye to all of your new friends. Embarkation is at 10:00hrs. You will be escorted via private transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
